There are several ways to visit the Golden Ring. Some of the cities, such as Sergiev Posad, Rostov and Vladimir are close to Moscow and can be easily visited on a one-day trip. To visit the others, it is better to take a multi-day trip. When planning your Golden Ring journey, please note that there are no train stations in Pereslavl Zalessky and Suzdal.

Pereslavl Zalessky can be reached from the Moscow Central Bus Terminal (also called Shelkovsky Bus Terminal). Suzdal is just 12 km away from Vladimir, so you can book a train ticket to Vladimir and then take a taxi to Suzdal.
