Afanasy Nikitin train

Afanasy Nikitin train is named in honour of famous Russian traveler and writer Afanasy Nikitin. The first trip took place in the 1991 along route Moscow-Vyborg, but then it was reduced to Moscow-St-Petersburg. Afanasy Nikitin operates daily. It has 1st, 2nd, 3rd class compartments and also a nice dining car.

Express train

The Express is a fast Moscow train with increased level of service running between St Petersburg and Moscow. The train has both 1st and 2nd class cabins. Grand Express train

Grand Express is the most luxurious train that operates between Moscow and Saint-Petersburg. The train has 1st, Premium, Grand and Grand De Lux class compartments. Northern Palmira train

This is a fast St. Petersburg train with increased levels of service called a "Firmenny" train. In summer this train goes between St Petersburg to Adler (The South of Russia) and during other periods it is used to carry passengers from Moscow to St Petersburg and back. 2nd class cabins are available, which consist of a cabin with a sleeping berth for 4 people. Red Arrow train

The Red Arrow is probably the most famous Russian train. In Soviet times, it carried the Communist Party elite between Moscow and what was then Leningrad. Two capitals train

Firmeny train Two capitals operates along route Moscow-St-Petersburg since the 2005. This train is less expensive in comparison with other trains along this popular route and it has 3rd class carriages. All the compartments have air conditioning and heating. Two capitals doesn´t make stops during the trip and it will take about 8 hours.
