More than two thousand volunteers are going to help at the Railway stations during the FIFA World Cup 2018

Over two thousands city volunteers will be helping at the 31 railway stations in 11 host cities of the Championship. Their main duties will be to assist with boarding and getting off the train, helping people with disabilities, directing passengers at the railway stations.

The majority of city volunteers earlier have assisted at the railway stations' infrastructure last year during the FIFA Confederations Cup 2017. The majority of volunteers (more than 1 thousand) will be working at the railway stations in Moscow with the biggest passengers flow.

The information stands will be set at the railway stations (both transportable and stationary). The volunteers have been distributed between the stations based on the past experience, with consideration of the number of trains formed for the transportation of the football fans.

All city volunteers would go through the special training, which would include the international treaty, the rulebook of the volunteer, the coverage of the cases from the sports tournaments of the earlier years. The main task of the volunteer at the railway station is to become an assistant to the railway station's employees. Thus, at the final stage, the volunteer would have to familiarize himself or herself with the railway infrastructure and co-workers.

We would like to highlight that all volunteers speak foreign languages.
