The JSC "RZD" has announced recent changes in the trains' formation. The double-decker passenger carriages of the train № 7/8 St. Petersburg-Moscow and train № 49/50 Moscow - Samara are substituted with the single-decker carriages of an equal class. Nonetheless, the double-decker train №35/36 St. Petersburg - Adler will continue operating without changes. This happened due to the fact that all passenger carriages, which were equipped with the hitch mechanisms BSU-3 were called back by the JSC "VNIITransmash". The substituting carriages are planned to be used only for the period of the maintanence of the original ones.
The formation of the day trains №101/104, № 103/106 and № 105/102, which are operating on the route Moscow - Yaroslavl, are also planned to be changed. The carriages with seats will be temporary substituted with the carriages of the 2nd and 3rd class. These changes will come into force starting from the 14th of September for the trains №101/104 and №105, and from 15th of September for the trains №102 and №103/106.
