Train "Strizh" carried its millionth passenger

On 7th of April, the ceremonial reception of the millionth passanger took place at the Kursky railway station. The millionth passenger has arrived to Moscow with the morning train "Strizh" №701. Dmitry Mikhailovich had come to visit Moscow with his wife and daughter. He was greeted by the general director of JSC "Federal Passenger Company" Peter Ivanov and received memorable presents and souvenirs.
The train "Strizh"  or in russian "Strizh", operates on the route Moscow - Nizhny Novgorod since 1st of June 2015. Trains are departing daily and make 7 trips per day. The trip duration is 3 hours 35 min. Some trains are heading directly to Moscow / Nizhny Novgorod without any stops, but some are making stops along the way at the stations: Vladimir, Kirov, Dzerzhinsk.
Train has 1st and 2nd class seats, VIP carriage, restaurant-car and cafe.
The route "Moscow - Nizhny Novgorod" is a part of the "dynamic pricing" programm, which means that prices for the tickets are changing depending on the season, demand, sales and time of the week.
The "Strizh" train consists of carriages constructed by Spanish company Patentes Talgo S.L. The rolling stock is equipped with the system of passive inclination of the cabin, which enables the fast passing through the short radius curves and shortens the duration of the trip. The designed speed of the new rolling stock is 200 km/h.
