Connecting two important Russian cities, Moscow – St. Petersburg Railway is a very busy one. There are about 20 express and high-speed trains daily, not to count numerous suburban trains. You can ride an overnight train which takes about 8 hours or a high-speed Sapsan train which will deliver you from one city to the other in 4 hours. There are nice and inexpensive trains on the route, such as Double-Decker and Smena, and very luxurious ones, like Grand Express and the Red Arrow.
