Sapsan trains have developed a special menu for the FIFA-2018

On the 7th of June, at the Leningradsky Railway station in Moscow has been held the presentation of the new menu for the passengers of the speed trains "Sapsan". From 14th till 26th of June, in the Bistro-carriages of the Sapsan different cuisines of the world will be served.

The selection of the cuisine depends on the teams that would play on a particular day. As for example, on June 14th, would be the match between Russia and Saudi Arabia, and passengers will be able to order dishes from the Russian cuisine, while on 15th of June, when team from Marocco will playing against Iran and Egypt will be playing against Uruguay, dishes would belong to the Middle Eastern cuisine. On 19th of June, during the play between Poland and Senegal, passangers would be able to taste the dishes of Eastern Europe. The campaign would end on 26th of June with dishes from the French cuisine with the match between Denmark and France.

The "Football" menu has been developed by the team of chef-cooks Sergey Shihov and Maxim Repin, who are in charge of the Sapsan train's menus. They have re-thought and adapted for serving on board the main course dishes, appetizers, and desserts, of different cuisines. In total have been developed and will be served 18 dishes.

The special menu will be offered also to the passengers of the additional Football fans' trains. 73 restaurant carriages will be serving free trains; their menu has been developed and approved by the Transport directory of the FIFA World Cup 2018. The passengers will be offered with vegetarian, fish and meat dishes, hot and cold appetizers. For the foreign guests would be offered dishes from the Russian cuisine, such as borsch, solyanka, shchi, blini and other dishes.
