I was traveling from SPB to MOW on 12 Sept. Booked 2 tickets for Sapsan through Russianrail.com, the booking experience has been great and very very easy. Got our tickets the same day along with the choice of seats we had requested. Russian rail.com is highly recommended as they give out the best fares compared to other Russian train websites and every detail is in English. The website is very informative for first time Non Russian speaking travelers. Next visit is in May 2020 with family and I would gladly use Russianrail.com to book tickets from Kazan to to SPB....

My experience with RussianRail.com was great. The system is user friendly and the communication thorough and frequent. The two Saspan train trips between Moscow and St. Petersburg were the best transport experiences of our three week long trip in Russia and the Caucasus. I recently used Russian Rail for the third time and found the service to be excellent and exceptionally professional. At about the same time I made my reservations my son made reservations with a competing company. We made separate reservations since our start and stop dates of travel were different. The problems my son experienced are too numerous to detail in this space, but suffice it to say he had to eventually cancel with that company. His experience makes me especially appreciative of the service I have received with Russian Rail.

We recently used RussianRail twice for our train bookings during our tour of Russia. We got good rates for our booking of the Sapsan fast train from St Petersburg to Moscow where we got to choose the type of seats and the direction of travel which other booking sites were not offering. We also used them to book our fast train tickets to Vladimir and back. The tickets are not immediately generated but you will receive them within a few hours of making the payment.

I was impressed with the service of this railway company. Online booking was easy to use and comfortable to ride. I think in-car services such as free lunch service and WIFI are perfect.

Honestly speaking, the most comfortable, luxurious, clean train journey I had been so far in my life. The timing of the train, the entire journey was so mesmerising. I would definitely recommend Russian rail to my fellow travellers in future and would love to be back and taking the train again in near future.

A fabulous journey from Moscow to St Petersburg. There was wifi on the train plus brochures on both cities and free earphones. They serve coffee etc for purchase. Very impressed!

We travelled on the fast train (Sapsan) from St Petersburg to Moscow recently and were very pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. 9am boarding was efficient and punctual and we only had to be at the station 30 minutes before departure. Plus our luggage travelled with us, so as opposed to airline travel, no long wait at the other end. Staff were wonderful and carriage was spotlessly clean and well appointed. Could not recommend it more highly. Brilliant way to travel and see a little bit of the Russian countryside was a bonus.
