Tickets in Russian but it also comes with an English instruction. Had no problem boarding at all!

Russian Rail made booking my entire Trans-Siberian adventure incredibly simple. Navigating a foreign system can seem intimidatingly opaque, not least with an unfamiliar alphabet and remote stations, but Russian Rail made it transparent. The site provided complete clarity and therefore complete freedom to choose the times, cabins, and stops that I wanted, even at the last minute. The booking process was easy and swift. Fantastic!

I used this site to buy Sapsan tickets from St Petersburg to Moscow. Tickets were emailed and printed them out. After going through 2 lots of security (into the station then onto the platform) showed tickets and passports to the guard, hopped on train and went to Moscow. Absolutely no problems. Was easy to find the train in St P and in Moscow we used the subway to get to our hotel in the centre of town. Again no problems or hassle. This site had the option to chose your seats and seemed more reasonably priced than some of the others - so would recommend.

We, a group of 4 had a 'wow' experience with Russian Rail during our recent trip from Moscow - Saint Petersburg on Aug 4th. It was our first experience being in a bullet train (Sapsan), and we had the most out of it. The entire trip was full of excitement, travelling at a speed at about 250km/hr through different terrains of Russia. It was this excitement that forced us to cancel our flight tickets from SPB to Moscow and opt Sapsan for the second time. We thank Russian Rail for the good job done and the services rendered to us. Appreciate the work ! Hope they will continue to do the same work ahead.

I would definitely recommend Russian Rail, which I used for rail tickets between Moscow and St. Petersburg on the high speed Sapsan train. They were courteous, professional, and prompt to reply to messages. They handled my reservation with ease and made the process quite simple and streamlined. We traveled from Moscow to St. Petersburg on the Sapsan high speed train. Getting tickets and information on Russian Rail was easy. Information is complete and accurate, available in English. Train was pleasant and comfortable, and the whole experience was worry free. If you are planning a similar trip, I would recommend don't bother with the economy+ class that provides a free "meal". It is just a very small cold sandwich and a cookie. Cookie was good. Sandwich was one thin slice of cold chicken and 3 slices of pickle on very soft cold bread. No sauce. No condiments. Not worth it. Buy food in the train station and carry on. Also: free wifi on train is very unstable. Don't count on it. Nevertheless, we would definitely make this trip again. The Sapsan train was otherwise quite modern and nice.

Fantastic experience from start to finish when booking train tickets from Moscow to St Petersburg! Booking was easy - confirmation email received immediately and e-tickets followed soon afterwards. Details on tickets were accurate as was all the other information given. Only e-tickets and passports needed to board the train. I used the service provided by Russian Rails. I used Sapsan Train from Moscow to St. Petersburg and Double decker from St. Petersburg to Moscow. I just can say that all things were great and we were very pleased using Russian Rail. I certainly recommend everybody to use Russian rail. The trains were clean, comfortable and on-time. Excellent experience, the staff speaks English and if not, find one who does. Trains departures and arrive at scheduled time. Very clean, ordered, and great personnel predisposition. The menu is very complete and the service really efficient. Thanks to its installations and kind personnel, travelers feels very welcome every time. Compared to high speed trains of Italy and France, this service is superior and non expensive. Highly recommended.

Using Russian Rail's website I purchased tickets from Warsaw to Moscow on the overnight train and then tickets on the Sapsan from Moscow to St Petersburg. Instructions were clear and concise making the purchase of tickets hassle free. I would most certainly use their services again and would have no hesitation in recommending their services to others.
