Russian Railways Introduces Duty Free Shops to Trains
In May, Russian Railways plans to introduce duty free to Russian international trains. Initially, the pilot duty free shop will be opened on board the route between Moscow and Kiev starting at the end of May.
The project will run for one year on the Moscow Kiev route and if successful could be lauched on other international routes as well. Duty free has become very popular in Russia along the borders as well as in airports, but until now, the idea of duty free shops on international trains has not been explored.
