Free Wifi in St. Petersburg
Free Wifi!
St. Petersburg's Governor, Georgy Poltavchenko, has made an annoucement saying that free wifi will soon apear in the city center and along Nevsky Prospekt in St. Petersburg.
The idea to make St. Petersburg a free wifi hotspot was resently discussed with the governor at a meeting of the City Hall's Youth Council.
The plan is to later increase the free wifi coverage to other parts of the downtown area in St. Petersburg.
Russia's and tourists in St. Petersburg already enjoy free wifi in many of St. Petersburgs cafe's and coffee shops.
